who's to judge ???

At times i ponder is it just me who feels uncomfortable when people judge...... when a girl wears a mini-skirt, or has had couple of relationships the common buzz is that aaaah she a bitch (sorry for the explicit language but come on admit it - it happens whether u like it or not ) ...... oh my she smokes/drinks......n lo behold people start judging again ........ n it just doesn't stop there does it ......they talk about it too....

n it doesnt stop with girls ........ a guy who looks at a gal .... ( u know where) ..... the bastard (judged again) the guy who flirts (again!!!) ..... the list goes on ....

in a world where we as a country are developing isnt it the need of the moment to grow along with it???

Isn't it true that we r given the right of free-will till it hurts somebody....... if it does then its terrorism right ???

but then it gets more complicated...... people getting hurt is a vast topic by itself.... off late moral policing seems to be the talk of the town.... public display of affection hurts the religious sentiments of people and our traditional values........ ???!!!

now am not digging out any conclusion .......... but I don't get it !!!! I really don't get it .........

ps..
Am not supporting drinking, smoking, guys who stare(mind u -its annoying)....... but I do think that its not a reason enough to judge or label anybody.......

our society has been conservative ever since it became a society... in the west, bathing suits used to cover the women from neck to ankle when they first came out... and that gradually worked its way to topless bathing... but leave tat... not the point... in our society, everythin happened suddenly... thats why ppl cant cope with all this... guys still stare at gals wearing tight shirts because this thing became an almost overnite phenomenon... if clothing/relationships had been dealt with leniancy in the past, we wont be facing these silly matters today [:)] u asked for an opinion... so... peeping, ogling, drooling, perving... happens.. and regarding judging, we often frame a picture in our mind when we see a person for the first time. i'd like to quote an example.. there is this old man who comes to my place every now and then for money. he comes in shabby clothes and his looks are almost the same too.. i always treated him like shit, but one day he took me by surprise when he started talking about Nuclear deals. He had a perfect smooth English that made me look so cheap.. My judgemental mind had never gone thru such a phase before.

Our perceptional insights are limited to the circle our minds can radiate around.. Your post speaks about plain truth.

Kudos... For talking it out straight... Not many people can do it...

My personal take on this is... "As for as it is fine for my conscious... I will go with it..."

There is so much in this world to explore... its a criminal waste of time to think & talk abt this kind of people...

P.S:The way your profile pic is too good... It gvs quite a matrued thinker look...

I agree with you, but hopefull that things will change for better. Although western society is presumably progressive, double standards still exist!

You judge. Because you expect. And you expect because you want to judge.
Think it over

Judging is something that will not easily go away. It is in our nature. We tend to judge those who are different from us - whatever the difference may be.

The antidote to 'judging' is not 'not judging', but showing grace... even towards those who judge us. For when we are bitter towards those who judge, we judge them too...

Sorry for using the word judge so many times in a sentence... *grin*

judging someone has got nothing to do with a conservative society, the land's culture, the growing atmosphere... its all in the mind of the people...
all of us expect something outta everyone... for instance i feel a perfect girl should be soft, humble, conservative... but when i see a gal who is not even close to all these characters... i automatically say the gal is a "bitch"... just because i dont like her... its diff that i dont knw anything about her... same goes for everyone... a guy flirting with some girls or looking at her "you knw what"... many people seeing that may think the guy is a casanova or something... and immediately rate him... actually forgetting the fact that they themselves would have done such a thing in the past....
"if someone has to change... its not the society... its us..."

"wake up people... stop blaming the society and the culture for what and how we are "

people should not just change their exterior to being broad minded, they should also change their way of thinking.. because 99.999999999999% of the people are toooooo narrow minded in thinkin.. u too anusha...
